A very important milestone song in the life and work of Sri Prasanna Venkata Daasaru. As the story goes, the ruling Peshwa sent his personal stenographer as an emissary to bring the saint to his court. The emissary invites Prasanna Venkata Daasaru and, in the process, talks about his own writing skills with a lot of pride. The saint recites an impromptu poem praising the Lord. The Kannada poetry is no less than a modern-day rap song, much to the awe of the emissary who fails to pen down the song. With his ego broken, he admits defeat.
